Project Overview

The objective was to design an application that would help students by providing educational loans with the best rate of interest. The product aims to disrupt the education loans industry by deploying technology to reduce inefficiencies in the lending process making it a hassle-free process for students.

Problem Statement

The first step in the mobile app development process is to define, as succinctly as possible, the problem you are trying to solve for the market. Many customers complain about the stress they go through to access loan services from their mobile devices due to too much confidential information and the rate at which users’ info is used afterward by fraudsters The users that use the app complain of navigation issues and not getting funds immediately.
  • Slow upload speed.
  • Lack of quality images.
  • Poor or confusing user journey.
  • Low standard of written content.
  • Hidden details or no obvious point of contact.
  • Badly integrated.

CHALLeNGE

A long list of documents is to be verified. Time and effort are required. Hectic and long process for parents and students. Not sure about the time it would take before the final approval. Colleges are linked with specific banks. Flexibility in terms of the loans which need to be customized to the requirements of the students and their respective courses. Ability to get appropriate customer service during the repayment cycle. Ability to repay the loan from overseas. Sometimes, parents, guardians, or whoever is initiating the loan on behalf of the student does not have a credit history. This makes it very difficult for the bank to understand the creditworthiness of the individual.

The goal of this project is to create a product that is both functional and attractive, and that will appeal to users of all levels of expertise. By taking into account the specific needs of the Target audience, designers can create a product that is both effective and user-friendly.

Solution

An effective app design should fulfill its intended function by conveying its particular message whilst simultaneously engaging the visitor. Several factors such as consistency, speed of loan origination process, smoothing the loan process, divergent regulations, cost-effectiveness, colors, typography, imagery, simplicity, and functionality contribute to good website design.

To solve this problem, I decided to create an app with an attractive UI and easy navigation for the users. To increase the app’s adoption rate. To do this, they need to understand why users are not downloading and using the app and identify ways to get more people to use it.

EXISTING UI

Old UI design problems arise in designs when many things are happening at once — when there are many features in one place at a time. It can be challenging to place elements perfectly on a page, but arranging things becomes more comfortable when you aim for simplicity, thereby improving usability.

USER REVIEW ISSUE AND ANALYSIS

Austin Fleming: Lead, manage, and monitor accounting functions. Develop, generate, and manage timely accounting reports.
Needs: Needs to improve user experience and policy pages.
Pain points: Constantly getting “failed to load terms & conditions”. Tried all the basic troubleshooting steps (clear data & and cache, force stop, Uninstall) nothing changed. Has been a Frustrating issue for a while now.
